The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is a prestigious five-year full-time professional degree program designed in accordance with the guidelines of the Council of Architecture (COA), India. The program equips students with the theoretical knowledge, technical skills, and creative confidence to design meaningful, sustainable, and context-responsive built environments.

Structured over ten semesters, the curriculum balances core architectural design studios with in-depth study of building technology, construction, environmental design, history and theory, digital tools, and professional practice. Emphasis is also placed on practical training, site visits, case studies, and industry exposure to develop real-world competence.

Graduates of this program are eligible for registration with the Council of Architecture, India, and can pursue careers as licensed architects, urban designers, conservationists, interior designers, or further education in allied fields.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Academic Qualification

The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination) or Completed 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central/State governments with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and at least 50% aggregate marks

2. Entrance Examination Requirement

The candidate must have qualified any one of the following entrance examinations:

  • NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA)

3. Age Limit

There is no upper age limit prescribed by COA; however, candidates must meet age criteria (if any) specified by the affiliated university or state admission authorities.

4 Special Fee Concession for Armed Forces Families Eligibility Criteria: At least one parent must be actively serving in the armed forces (Navy, Army, Air Force, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, Police).

• Valid ID or certificate from the unit must be submitted with admission documents.
• 25% fee concession for Punjab and Haryana students.
